The Harley-Davidson X350 will mostly compete with BMW & KTM motorcycles if it is made available in India.
The new 350cc motorcycle, the X350, was just released by Harley-Davidson as part of its strategy to target developing countries. The bike was initially priced at 33,388 Yuan, which, at the current exchange rate, is equivalent to almost Rs 4 lakh.
This changes the company's growth plan and is the smallest Harley-Davidson motorcycle currently being produced. Harley has partnered with regional producers to lower the cost of low-capacity bikes' development and production. The X350 will be manufactured in China in association with QJ Motor. Harley and Hero MotoCorp in India have a similar partnership.
The X350's cockpit is rather simple, with conventional switch controls and a semi-digital instrument console. Users get access to data such as trip metre, speed, time, and odometer. With a wide handlebar and foot pegs located in the middle, the bike features an ergonomic riding position. A sportier appearance has been achieved by reducing saddle thickness. However, there shouldn't be any discomfort because only top-notch foam was used.
The front and rear frames on the Harley X350 are made of cast aluminium, and the front forks are 41mm inverted rebound adjustable. The bike's rear suspension may be preloaded and has rebound damping. The front and rear 17-inch wheels on the X350 are fitted with 120/70 and 160/60 tyres, respectively. Petal disc brakes with ABS are used for braking on both ends.
The X350 has a 13.5-liter gasoline tank and a dry weight of 180 kg.
